Sunday School

9:30am-10:30am

Middle School

Students in 6th and 7th grades will meet in room 200 to engage in Bible study and discussions related to their faith using the Sparkhouse Connect curriculum. These grades alternate learning about the Old and New Testaments each year so that both are studied before entering their confirmation year. This year’s study will focus on the New Testament.

Confirmation

The Confirmation class prepares students to make the decision to proclaim their faith in Jesus Christ, prepare them for a lifetime of discipleship, and to become active and participating members of the church. The class is centered around these four areas: Engaging God’s Word; Living in a Community of Faith; Serving Others; and Learning about Our Faith Tradition.

High School

High school students will meet in the Den to study the new PCUSA curriculum “Follow Me” which focuses on Biblical practices for faithful living. Units of study include welcoming all, hope, living in community, and practicing joy, among others.

Youth Group

The goal of Youth Group is to foster youth connections to each other and to their faith, as well as to provide a weekly time of respite and relaxation from the stresses of the middle school and high school years. Youth Group, which includes middle school and high school students, meets each Wednesday night from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Our time together may include dinner, recreation, discussions related to both faith and daily life, mission work, occasional field trips, and games. We usually begin with a game of kickball in the gym followed by snacks and any of the previously mentioned activities in the Den.
